COMBATTING CYBER TERRORISM

Stopping Cyberharassment, Cyber Bullying & Cyberstalking

I recently had the horrendous “opportunity” of experiencing first hand the seriousness and dangerousness of illegal malicious online attacks up to and including defamation, cyberstalking, online threats of violence, injury and even death, to name a few. Courts and lawmakers have taken these issues very seriously and almost all states including the district of Columbia have statutes against this form of internet abuse and stalking.

I have been unable to keep up with regular postings here due to my having to carefully document all of which has occurred and is currently occurring as well as  attempting to try and track down those organizations  and individuals responsible.

It is my hope that in writing this I can steer people in the right direction and offer steps that you as an individual can take should you yourself fall prey to cyber thugs and/or domestic terrorist like online groups.

Currently, the three main online organizations which have been conducting the horrendously illegal campaigns against me are:

1. Perverted Justice Foundation Inc.,org.,  AKA Perverted Justice (These are the “people” who do the NBC Dateline Stings on “To Catch A Predator”)

2. Petra Luna United Nations AKA “Petra Luna” Warrior for the abused AKA Barbara Ochoa

and

3. Absolute Zero United which is owned by Christopher Brocious

These three groups are a tightly knit bunch who share information whether factual or not on a specific “target” and create large scale campaigns against their targets including making multiple duplicitous web pages, contacting neighbors and employers, making harassing phone calls, e-mails etc. defaming, libeling, and inciting harm against their “target”. Although they adamantly deny they are affiliated with one another, I have gathered MUCH evidence to the contrary.

It doesn’t take you doing anything illegal to get caught in their cross hairs. You might simply share a name similar to someone that they (via their own judge, jury, and executioner style) brand as being a “pedophile” and/or “pro-pedophile”. You might have spoken out somewhere posting a comment against the over-breadth and ineffectiveness of current sex offender laws. You may even just be related to someone they simply suspect of some wrongdoing. Either way, in their eyes, you are now considered a “legitimate target”.

By the time they have you in their sites however the damage done to your character will already be done. Let me be clear that THEY DO NOT CARE, EVEN IF YOU ARE INNOCENT OF ANY WRONGDOING.

The aforementioned groups and the individuals whom comprise their ranks can NOT be reasoned with. Trying to reason with these people is futile and can and will only inflame the problem.

If you find yourself a “target” of one or more of these groups I am certain you will first be shocked that this type of activity is and has been allowed to run rampant on the internet. MySpace.com is their main forum for doing much of their planning on how and when to attack their “target”. Without the help of MySpace.com they would be at a great disadvantage when it comes to organizing. Unfortunately, it has been my experience that MySpace.com could care less even though many of the webpages are rife with graphic violence and clearly violate their own Terms Of Service. These are some things you might want to consider before allowing your children to become a member of MySpace.com

Once you come out of your state of shock you’ll most likely be wondering what - if anything can be done to stop this sort of online illegal activity.

Although there is no “short answer” to this question but there are in fact many things that you, as an individual can do to combat this type of activity. Getting these cyber-thugs stopped will definitely take some time and effort on your part.

I am not a lawyer – DO NOT construe what follows as legal advice. These are simply steps which I personally have found useful in getting “their” attention, as well as the attention of the courts, and law enforcement.

First and foremost it is VITAL to document everything you can. You’ll want to “google your name” often at least every few days. Save webpages, e-mails, blog pages, commentaries etc. Get them into PDF format AND take screen shots. There are several screenshot capture programs available for download on the web which are FREE. Use them.

If you receive any threats of violence towards your person, family members, and/or property contact local law enforcement as well as your local FBI office immediately and make a formal complaint. Follow up with them and be sure that if nothing is getting accomplished that you remind them (law enforcement) that they can be held Federally liable for "neglecting to prevent" if anything does happen to you, your family, and/or property.

You must also file a complaint with Internet Crimes Complaint Center. You will be assigned a case number. Be as detailed as possible in your compliant. They will also tell you to carefully document everything that is occurring.

Those making webpages about you may try and “block” your i.p. address in which case you will be unable to view the webpages from your home computer. You can download  free “anonymous browser” software programs however, such as xerobank browser for example which will give you a new i.p. address every time you log on and browse through it. This will allow you to see all the pages they have "blocked" you from.

When you find a website displaying threats, factually incorrect information, personal identifying information about you and/or illegal use of your image(s) you must try and contact the website owner and ask them to “Cease and Desist” immediately. keep it short and simple.  Save copies of your request and any responses you get.

You may have to do a “Whois” look up to find out who actually owns the site. To do this copy the link from your browser. Google “Whois” and then enter the domain name into the search. Many will have “private domain registrations” however you can get their real identities by writing to the private domain registrar if they are abusing their policy or terms of service by using the private registration for illegal purposes. Again make and keep copies of everything. Save it on your computer as well as print up all relevant data in case your computer crashes or is hacked, as often does happen in these cases.

You must differentiate between civil and criminal activity. Most often it will be a combination of the two. Law enforcement will only act on criminal complaints. For civil complaints you must either hire an attorney or represent yourself (Pro se). While it is difficult, it is not impossible to do.  If you are unsure which violations are civil and which are criminal check some of the following terms (many times they are both civil and criminal in nature):

Intentional Infliction of emotional distress

Should you be strong and determined enough to stop these online terrorists, and decide to file a civil complaint (lawsuit) against them, check your state’s
Rules of Federal Civil Procedure” online. In my opinion (again this is not legal advice) it is best to file your lawsuit in Federal Court especially since chances are the illegal activity has crossed multiple jurisdictions (states). The federal court has online guides to help walk you through the legal process BUT they CANNOT and WILL NOT offer you any legal advice.

As I have said this will take time and effort on your part, but it will be well worth it in the end.

The folks over at www.corrupted-justice.com are really great about helping out when they can with identifying those who may be responsible. They also offer a lot of emotional support. Hopefully, in time a class action type suit can be established and filed against these organizations and individuals. They are predators in EVERY sense of the word and they are relentless.
